Parent/School Partnership

God’s instructions regarding education as recorded in the Bible are addressed to parents, not to schools – at MCS we aim at all times to bear this in mind, and to ensure that our input into your child’s life is in line with your own. You, as parents, will always be the primary voice in his or her life; a school is in no way a substitute for parents. What we can be, though, if you so wish, is an active support and partner in your commission to ‘raise up a child in the way he should go’ (Pr.22:6).

 

With this in mind, we take every opportunity to develop a positive home/school relationship, with regular Parent Conferences to discuss your student’s progress, and Parent Teacher Fellowships which enable us to enjoy each other’s company and build a common vision. There is also our ongoing everyday contact, which is vitally important – and indeed the School could not run without the regular contributions that parents make each week as assistant staff members and helpers in many different ways.

At MCS, you will definitely be very directly involved in your child’s education – and it will be a very real blessing to all concerned!
