Admissions

Because the School is an extension of the home, we consider applications from families where a similar Christian environment of Godly standards and values prevails. At least one of the parents should be a practising Christian, and both parents should be happy for their children to be educated within a Christian framework as outlined in the School’s Statement of Faith.

Admission is open to students of any race, colour, national and ethnic origin; Maranatha Christian School does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, national and ethnic origin in any area of the school programme.

We consider all applications on an individual basis. On receiving your application, we will arrange an interview for you with the Headteacher and one or more members of the Board of Trustees. This will enable us to explain what joining the School means to the student and his or her family, and will give you the chance to ask any further questions you might have.

We will ask older students (twelve years and above) for a personal response to the prospect of a move to a school such as ours, but your commitment as parents is fundamentally important. After all, it’s why you’re here – and why we’re here, too!
